New Year 2027 · group forming

We see the year in on Phu Quoc
and leave for the hills of Da Lat

We live in Vietnam and guide the groups ourselves — no middlemen, no coach for forty people, no «free time» standing in for a programme. For New Year we take one group and travel with it: eleven days, five nights by the sea and five among the pines at fifteen hundred metres. A gala dinner and a beach festival on New Year's Eve, a water show with fireworks, diving off An Thoi, your own coffee blend and a cup you throw with your own hands.

Tours,
born from within

We are the Vietnam Samurai team, and we don't just run tours. We reveal the Vietnam that only those who live here truly know.

Every route is crafted by people who have traveled these roads themselves, slept in these villages, tasted street food at dawn, and climbed peaks no tourist bus ever reaches.

We don't resell other people's itineraries. We build every journey the way we'd travel ourselves — with discovery, emotion, and moments that stay forever.

Before the tours came the visa business. Sergei Ivanov founded Best Border Bus in 2022 — a company that helps with visa processing and visa run trips for those living in Vietnam.

Over the years we've served more than 6,000 clients. That experience — knowing the country, the logistics, the people, the nuances — became the foundation for Vietnam Samurai tours.

If you need a visa or a visa run — we're here. Our Telegram bot will help you quickly and easily.

Vietnam
by city

Hanoi tours — 2–3 days in the itinerary

Hanoi is a millennial capital with 36 trade streets in the Old Quarter, French colonial architecture and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Temple of Literature (Vietnam's first university, 1070), Tran Quoc Pagoda on West Lake Island, water puppet theatre. Hanoi is the only Asian city that has preserved the quarters of three distinct civilisations — Vietnamese, Chinese and French.

In tours: 7, 12 days

Ha Long Bay tours — a night on a junk or a day cruise

1,969 karst islands, emerald water and a night on a cruise liner — Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in two categories. Sung Sot Cave with 30-metre vaults, kayaking between the cliffs, fresh seafood right on board. Vietnam Samurai offers 4–6 hour cruises or overnight stays depending on the tour.

In tours: 7, 12 days

Sapa tours — rice terraces and trekking

A mountain region at 1,600 m on the Chinese border. 300-year-old rice terraces, the Hmong village of Cat Cat, trekking and sunrise over the valley. Fansipan (3,143 m) — the roof of Indochina: a cable car gets you to the summit in 15 minutes; before it opened, the climb took two days.

In tours: 7, 12 days

Hoi An tours — UNESCO old town

An old town frozen in the 16th–17th centuries: the Japanese Bridge, Chinese trading houses, labyrinthine alleyways. Hoi An at night — hundreds of lanterns on the Thu Bon River. Local tailors make clothes to measure in 24 hours — suit, dress, shoes. My Son ruins are 45 minutes away — Hindu sanctuaries from the 1st–14th centuries.

In tour: 12 days

Nha Trang tours — diving and islands

Warm sea 365 days a year, 8th-century Po Nagar towers in the city centre, island snorkelling with up to 15 m visibility. Thap Ba mud baths — a hot mineral spring right by the sea. Nha Trang is the favourite resort of Russian-speaking expats in Vietnam, with Russian schools and restaurants throughout the city.

Da Lat tours — mountain plateau and French architecture

A mountain city at 1,500 m — the former "summer capital" of French Indochina. 2,000 French villas, Crazy House in Gaudí style (top-25 most unusual buildings in the world), coffee plantations, strawberries and artichokes fresh from the farm. The temperature is +18–22°C when the coast is +35°C.

Ho Chi Minh City tours & the Mekong Delta

The former Saigon — a journey through the cities of southern Vietnam. Cu Chi Tunnels (250 km of wartime underground passages), the Mekong Delta with floating markets, Ben Thanh Market, the Saigon riverside at night. Ho Chi Minh City is the pulse of modern Vietnam — completely unlike Hanoi.

Frequently asked
questions

Can I join a tour if I am already in Vietnam?
Yes — that is the usual case here. We start from wherever you are: Da Nang, Nha Trang, Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. Tell us your city and your dates and we build the route around them, with no flight home in between. Message us on Telegram.
Do you pick me up from my hotel?
We do. A car with a driver arrives at your hotel at the agreed time and brings you back to the same door in the evening, so there is no meeting point to find. If your hotel sits outside the city, we agree the departure time the day before.
Is the guide English-speaking?
Our guides live in Vietnam and work in both English and Russian; local Vietnamese guides join at the key sights. Tell us in advance that your group is English-speaking and we assign a guide who runs the whole route in English.
I am already in Asia — how soon can a tour start?
Usually within two days: that is the time we need to hold hotels along the route and assign a guide. For a short trip inside one region we can sometimes leave the next morning. The fastest way to check free dates is Telegram.
Can I book part of the route instead of the whole itinerary?
Yes. Any route can be cut down to a two to five day segment — central Vietnam only, or the north only. People who already live in the region book it this way most often. Send us your dates and we quote the shortened version.
What is included, and what do I pay for on the spot?
Included: 3–4★ hotels, all domestic transfers, a guide for the entire route, entrance tickets to the main sights and breakfasts. On the spot you pay for meals outside the programme, souvenirs and personal expenses. International flights are not included; medical insurance is included in every tour (Luma Vietnam Pass, Plan 3).
How do I pay?
From Asia the simplest options are USDT or cash in US dollars on the spot; we also accept Kazakh and Uzbek bank cards and Wise. A 40% deposit locks your dates and the balance is paid when you meet your guide. We never ask for the full amount upfront.
My visa expires in the middle of the trip — can you help?
We check your permitted stay before booking and, if it runs out mid-route, we add a visa run: a border crossing into Cambodia or Laos and a fresh entry back. The bus, the paperwork at the border and the escort are handled by our Best Border Bus team — details via the visa bot.
