If you only have time for one VinWonders park in 2026, pick by what you actually want: Nha Trang for the cable car and the biggest water park, Phu Quoc for the widest all-round mix at the lowest crowd density, Nam Hoi An for the cheapest ticket and the River Safari boat ride. All three sit on the same Vinpearl ticketing system, but the price, the included extras, and the crowd feel are different enough to change which one earns a full day of your trip.

I run tours across Vietnam from Da Nang and I’ve walked all three parks with clients - families chasing water slides, couples who wanted photos, and groups on a tight one-day stop. None of the three is a bad choice. The difference is which extras are bundled into the ticket and how far the park sits from where you’re already staying.

Which VinWonders Ticket Is the Best Value?

VinWonders Nam Hoi An has the cheapest standard ticket at $25 (650,000 VND) for an adult, while VinWonders Nha Trang is the most expensive at $41 (1,050,000 VND) - but that price bundles the round-trip Vinpearl Cable Car, a ride you’d otherwise pay $8 (200,000 VND) for separately.

Water park slides like these are the headline draw at VinWonders Nha Trang's Tropical Paradise zone - plan them before the ride queues build up.

VinWonders Nam Hoi An$25 (650,000 VND)$18 (450,000 VND)River Safari boat ride~62 hectares, 5 zones

Children under 100cm enter free at all three parks. VinWonders Phu Quoc sells a combo ticket with Vinpearl Safari for $59 (1,500,000 VND) adult / $43 (1,100,000 VND) child, which is worth it only if you’re set on seeing the safari the same day.

VinWonders Nha Trang: The Cable Car and the Biggest Water Park

VinWonders Nha Trang sits on Hon Tre island and the ticket price includes the Vinpearl Cable Car ride out - a sea-crossing cable line that still holds a Guinness World Record recognition as the world’s longest over-sea cable car (sources differ on the exact meter count, but agree on the record). The ride alone takes just over eight minutes each way in one of 120 cabins.

The Vinpearl Cable Car ride at VinWonders Nha Trang is a similar sea-crossing trip, already bundled into the park ticket price.

Once you’re on the island, the Tropical Paradise water park is the single biggest draw: about 59,000 m² with 39 water slides and what’s marketed as the world’s largest floating inflatable bay. The park runs 09:00-20:00 daily, though the water zone closes earlier, around 17:30, so plan the slides before the amusement rides if a swim matters to you. July through September is the driest, calmest stretch for both the water park and the cable car crossing; October to December is cooler and quieter, better if you’re more interested in the cultural zones than the pool.

VinWonders Phu Quoc: The Widest Mix, Fewest Crowds

VinWonders Phu Quoc is marketed as Vietnam’s largest theme park by area, and in practice that means less queuing per ride than Nha Trang sees in peak season - it’s one stop on a longer list of things to do in Phu Quoc . The standard ticket at $37 (950,000 VND) covers the amusement rides and water park across six themed zones; it does not include Vinpearl Safari, which is a separate combo ticket.

Ride variety like this is what VinWonders Phu Quoc leans on to beat the smaller Nam Hoi An park on attractions.

The park sits about 33 km from Phu Quoc International Airport, roughly 30-60 minutes by taxi or the free VinBus route that runs via Grand World. Hours run 09:00-19:30 daily. Dry season from November to April brings calm seas and reliable sun - the window most visitors from Da Nang or Ho Chi Minh City choose. May to October is rainier but noticeably cheaper on flights and hotels if you don’t mind an afternoon shower breaking up the day.

VinWonders Nam Hoi An: Cheapest Ticket, River Safari Included

VinWonders Nam Hoi An is the value pick at $25 (650,000 VND) for an adult, and unlike the other two, the River Safari - a roughly 25-30 minute boat ride past open animal enclosures - is included in the standard admission, not sold as an add-on.

VinWonders Nam Hoi An's River Safari boat ride runs about 25-30 minutes and comes bundled into the standard ticket.

It’s also the most convenient stop if you’re already based in Da Nang or Hoi An: about 15-17 km from Hoi An Ancient Town (20-30 minutes by taxi) and roughly 25-30 minutes from Da Nang by car, with free shuttle buses running from both cities. Hours have shifted more than once here - VinWonders has issued official notices changing the schedule - so treat opening times as roughly 09:00-18:00 on weekdays and check the current page before you go rather than trusting a fixed number. February through August is the driest window for Hoi An; September through January brings the region’s heaviest rain and occasional flooding.

How Do You Choose Between the Three VinWonders Parks?

Match the park to what’s actually driving the day, not just the ticket price - the three sit in different regions, so the real decision is usually already made by where your trip has you based, and only then narrowed by what your group wants out of the visit.

  • Traveling with young kids and want the biggest water park → Nha Trang. The 39-slide Tropical Paradise zone and the cable car ride are the memory-makers.
  • Staying near Da Nang or Hoi An and want the cheapest day out → Nam Hoi An. Lowest ticket, short transfer, and the boat safari is already bundled in.
  • On Phu Quoc and want variety without the queues → Phu Quoc. Biggest footprint by area, add the Safari combo only if animals are the priority - see how it stacks up against Vietnam’s other islands if you’re still deciding where to base your trip.
  • Tight on time and want one bundled experience → Nha Trang’s ticket-plus-cable-car saves a separate purchase and a separate trip out to the island.
  • Traveling in the rainy season → Nam Hoi An’s indoor game centre and Phu Quoc’s water park hold up better under an afternoon shower than an open-air amusement zone.

None of the three needs you to book a private guide - VinWonders sells tickets directly and runs its own shuttles. Where a local team like ours actually helps is stitching the park into a route so it’s not a wasted day: which city to base in, which park fits your dates, and how to skip the ticket-counter line when you land straight off a flight.

If a VinWonders stop is one piece of a bigger Vietnam trip and you’d rather not build the whole route yourself, have a look at our tours - we run all three regions and slot in the theme parks, the cable cars, and the food stops that don’t show up on a map.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a VinWonders ticket cost in 2026?

Adult tickets run from $25 (650,000 VND) at Nam Hoi An to $41 (1,050,000 VND) at Nha Trang. The Nha Trang price is the highest because it bundles the round-trip cable car, which would otherwise cost an extra $8.

Does the VinWonders Nha Trang ticket include the cable car?

Yes - the standard admission price already covers the round-trip Vinpearl Cable Car crossing to Hon Tre island. You only pay the $8 (200,000 VND) cable car fare separately if you’re riding it without visiting the park.

Is VinWonders Phu Quoc worth it if I'm only on the island for two days?

It’s worth a full day if variety matters more than any single attraction - it’s the largest of the three parks by area and the crowds thin out faster than at Nha Trang. Skip the Safari combo unless you specifically want to see the animals; it adds $22 (550,000 VND) to the adult ticket.

How far is VinWonders Nam Hoi An from Hoi An Ancient Town?

About 15-17 km, roughly 20-30 minutes by taxi. Free shuttle buses also run from both Hoi An and Da Nang, so you don’t need a rental car for a single-day visit.

Do toddlers get in free at VinWonders parks?

Children under 100cm enter free at all three parks. Kids between 100cm and 140cm pay the discounted child ticket, and the height is checked at the gate, not by age.

Can I buy one ticket that covers all three VinWonders parks?

No combined multi-park pass is currently listed on the official ticketing pages - each park sells its ticket separately, even if you’re visiting more than one on the same trip.
