A 11-night Vietnam tour package from Moscow for two starts at roughly $1,550 for Nha Trang with a stopover and reaches $2,900 for a direct flight to Phu Quoc in 2026. The catch: these prices require booking 4 to 6 months before you fly. Last-minute deals at peak season simply don’t exist anymore.
I’ve lived in Da Nang for four years. Every October the messages start arriving: “Is there anything decent left for New Year?” Almost always, no — not at a reasonable price. If you’d rather have someone handle the full trip — routes, accommodation, a local guide — message me on Telegram .
Why Last-Minute Vietnam Deals Disappeared
Vietnam’s peak season runs November through March. By October, good hotels in Nha Trang and Phu Quoc are fully booked. Tour operators learned to fill their charter blocks months in advance, so the “flash sale” strategy that worked in 2021-2022 stopped working.

What actually remains at the last minute: poor flight times with long layovers, hotels with questionable reviews, or prices that are already higher than early-booking rates. Tet (late January through early February) is the most extreme case — 5-star resorts on Phu Quoc book out six months ahead, and rates at the remaining properties can double compared to early December.
What Does Early Booking Actually Mean in Practice?
The sweet spot is 4 to 6 months before departure. Here’s how that maps to calendar dates:
- December or January travel: start looking in July
- November or February: search from June or August
- Tet holiday (Jan 28–Feb 5, 2026): book by September at the latest
- April through October (low season, Nha Trang): 1-2 months out is usually fine
One thing worth watching: new direct flight route announcements. When an airline or tour operator launches a new route from your city, the opening seat blocks carry the lowest prices. This was true in 2024 when new charters from Yekaterinburg to Nha Trang opened — first buyers paid less than anyone who came later.
Watching for those route launches and booking windows is a part-time job in itself, and it’s the piece most people miss until prices have already climbed. This is where I usually get involved: I build the full itinerary — accommodation, transfers, and a guide who actually lives here — and pin honest quotes to your dates. Tell me when you want to travel on Telegram and I’ll start putting the trip together.
What Vietnam Tour Packages Actually Cost in 2026?
Two people, 11 nights, package including flights and hotel:
- Nha Trang from Moscow with stopover: from ₽140,000 (~$1,550)
- Nha Trang from Moscow direct: from ₽160,000 (~$1,780)
- Phu Quoc from Moscow with stopover: from ₽200,000 (~$2,220)
- Phu Quoc from Moscow direct: from ₽260,000 (~$2,890)
- Nha Trang from Irkutsk: from ₽50,000 (~$555)
- Nha Trang from Yekaterinburg or Novosibirsk: from ₽60,000 (~$670)

For in-country spending, budget roughly $900 for two over 10 days — separate from flights. That covers a 3-4 star hotel ($20-30 per night), food ($9 per person per day in local cafes — a bowl of pho costs $2), excursions (~$300 total), and transport. A group day trip from Nha Trang to Dalat runs about $57; island tours average $15-30. A 5-star resort room in Nha Trang is $30-60 per night. Four Red Flags Before You Pay
Cheap price but no hotel name listed. “4-star hotel, category guaranteed” means nothing. Ask for the specific property name, then check it on Google Maps. A named hotel beats a category every time.
“All-inclusive” that excludes the basics. Some packages omit airport transfers, travel insurance, or breakfast. Adding those in raises the price by $50-80 per person — compare totals, not headlines.
Layover math doesn’t add up. A direct 8-hour flight beats a 22-hour itinerary with two stopovers on a 10-night trip. The price difference on direct charters from major Russian cities is often smaller than you’d expect.
No cancellation terms in the contract. What happens if you cancel 30 days before departure? 7 days? Conditions vary widely between operators — find out before payment, not after.
