A Vietnam package tour from Bishkek starts at around $700 per person for 7 nights during high season (November–April); Nha Trang is the best value for first-timers, while Phu Quoc suits beach-focused travelers willing to spend 15–20% more. Citizens of Kyrgyzstan enter Vietnam visa-free for up to 30 days — no e-visa form, no consulate queue.
I’ve lived in Da Nang for three years and guided dozens of groups from Bishkek, Almaty, and Osh. Most of the time, the resort choice is fine. The expensive mistake happens two months earlier — before the booking. Here’s what actually matters.
Nha Trang or Phu Quoc: Which Resort Is Right for You?

Phu Quoc is a tropical island with white sand and crystal-clear water — Long Beach and Bai Sao are genuinely stunning, closer in feel to a Thai island than mainland Vietnam. Prices run 15–20% above Nha Trang. The weak points: ongoing construction near some resorts and limited street-food culture if you stray outside resort areas.
My call after three seasons: first trip → Nha Trang, second trip → Phu Quoc.
If beach quality is your only metric and you don’t mind paying more, Phu Quoc first is defensible. If you want value, things to do, and easy day trips, Nha Trang wins.
When Is the Best Time to Fly from Bishkek?

Peak months are December and January: tours cost 10–25% more and good hotels fill up 2–3 months in advance. For the same weather at lower prices, target March or April — water temperature reaches +27–28°C and the summer crowds haven’t arrived.
Avoid October and Nha Trang in May–September: typhoon season brings real wave risk. I’ve seen groups stuck indoors for two days because of storm closures. If you’re set on traveling in fall, choose Phu Quoc — it stays dry on the western side while the rest of the coast is getting battered.
How Long Is the Flight and What Connections Work?

One thing tour agencies don’t always flag: “7 nights” can mean only 5 full beach days if your outbound flight departs late evening and your return is early morning. Always ask your agency for the departure time and estimated hotel check-in time before signing the package contract.
Working out whether “7 nights” actually means seven beach days — and what the package quietly leaves off — is exactly the planning most people don’t want to do from Bishkek. This is where I come in: I build the whole trip with every stop, transfer, and cost written out, so the schedule you book is the one you get. What’s Not Included in the Package — and Where the Money Goes

- Excursions: from $30 for a group boat trip to the Cham towers, up to $100+ for a private day on the outer islands
- Meals: “breakfast included” leaves lunch and dinner at $10–20 per person per day in a decent restaurant
- Travel insurance: basic coverage is usually in the package; water sports and diving coverage are separate
- Motorbike rental: $8–12 per day if you want to explore on your own
Honest budget for 7 nights per person: $700–900 for the package + $300–400 on the ground. Total: $1,000–1,300 per person — not the “from $700” headline you see in ads.

What to Do in Vietnam During 7–10 Nights
Days 1–3: arrive, decompress, beach. Don’t overschedule the first two days — the heat hits harder than expected.
Day 4: boat day to the southern islands (Nha Trang) or a half-day at Vinwonders. In Phu Quoc, take the Bai Sao beach road south.
Day 5: cultural day — Po Nagar Cham Towers (free entry, 30 minutes) and Ba Ho Waterfalls (90 minutes from Nha Trang, local guide $15).
Days 6–7: slow morning, spa session ($20–40 for 60 min in a good hotel), seafood dinner near the market.
If your tour is 10 nights, consider 2–3 days in Da Lat — Vietnam’s mountain city at 1,500 m, with waterfalls, coffee farms, and a French colonial center. It’s a 3-hour drive from Nha Trang, day trip runs $40–60 private.
