There is no direct flight from Perm to Vietnam this winter: AZUR air dropped its 2026/27 winter charters to Nha Trang from seven Russian cities, and Perm is one of them. Travel agents received the cancellation notices on the evening of 5 October 2026, and the carrier’s press service confirmed the change, as Kommersant reports. You can still get to Vietnam through Moscow on one ticket, and tour operators are offering refunds on trips already paid for.
Is there any direct flight from Perm to Vietnam this winter?
No. As of 16 October 2026 the Perm airport schedule lists no Vietnam flights, according to the local outlet Business Class. The cancelled service was the winter Perm to Nha Trang charter into Cam Ranh airport, sold through tour operator Fun&Sun.
The notices do not say when the flights might return: they speak of the whole 2026/27 winter programme. AZUR air is moving the freed aircraft to Phuket, with more flights from Moscow, Kazan, Mineralnye Vody, Samara, Surgut, Tyumen and Ufa. Perm is not on that list either.
What Perm does keep are direct charters to Phuket, Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh and Antalya, per Business Class. A travel agent quoted by TourDom named only Phuket and Sharm el-Sheikh, so confirm the list with your operator. On Phu Quoc, ATOR reported on 21 August 2026 that Fun&Sun announced winter charters from 13 cities, including Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Samara and Ufa. Perm was not among them, and that list predates the Nha Trang cancellation.
Which Moscow connections actually reach Vietnam?
A single through ticket via Moscow is the shortest route. Aeroflot flies from Moscow to Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc, where service began on 15 October 2026 at two flights a week and rises to three from 25 October, so check the frequency on the carrier’s site. Vietnam Airlines flies from Moscow to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

The risk sits in how you buy. Two separate tickets mean the second carrier owes you nothing if the first flight runs late, and a hotel booking does not always go through on a Russian bank card. How do you get your money back for a cancelled flight?
Article 108 of the Russian Air Code returns the full fare when a passenger is forced to give up a journey, and clause 227 of Federal Aviation Rules FAP-82 treats a cancelled flight as exactly that. The AZUR air press service tells passengers with Nha Trang tours to go to their tour operator, and operators are offering either a full refund or another destination.
- Work out who sold you the trip: a tour goes through the operator or travel agent, a standalone ticket through the carrier or the site where you bought it.
- Ask for written confirmation of the cancellation, with a date and a booking number.
- Choose between a refund and a different destination, and accept a swap only for dates where your hotel can be cancelled free.
- File a written claim and keep the contract, voucher and every message, because refunds and losses are calculated from them.
Payout deadlines for tours and for tickets differ by contract, and the reports on this cancellation do not state them, so read your contract and the carrier’s terms.
Which route should someone in Perm pick?
For fixed dates and a Vietnam-only trip, buy one through ticket via Moscow, because one booking protects you from a missed connection. Flying from another city makes sense only if a direct Vietnam charter already leaves from there. If you hold a tour, start with the refund or swap, and buy new flights after the operator confirms.
